CIC Services and Programs

Community Connection in Action

CIC runs multiple social support programs each week, bringing people together through regular gatherings that include gentle movement sessions, cultural activities, shared meals, music and conversation. These programs provide meaningful opportunities for social connection while supporting physical and emotional wellbeing.

One of our most cherished initiatives is the nostra casa home volunteer program. This program connects trained volunteers with isolated or homebound clients for regular one-on-one visits. These relationships often grow into deep friendships, comprised of mutual care, shared stories, and cultural exchange, from traditional Italian recipes to gardening tips and everyday companionship.

We also offer supported outings and shopping programs, providing door-to-door transport and assistance. These services help elderly people maintain independence while staying socially connected, whether attending appointments, grabbing groceries and produce or enjoying time out in the community.

Weekly Program Schedule

Monday –  Incontriamoci

Tuesday – Amicizia

Wednesday – Mercoledi
(Mercoledi includes small outings with meals at different venues.)

Thursday –  Gioia (fortnightly)

Friday – Allegria

Saturday –  Insieme
